About Pizza Parliament!

In 2016, we bought our first truck “Adela” from an empanada place in Florida. We opened in 2017, and began serving events and breweries all over West Michigan. We quickly became a fna favorite everywhere we went. Shortly after, Justin bought his business partner out and began growing the company more quickly.

In 2019, we began doing all of the big music festivals in Michigan like Electric Forest, Camp Greensky, Coastguard Festival and Lost Lands. We also started numerous other food truck rotations in the West Michigan area at Tip Two, Sandy Pines, and various other establishments.

In 2020, when covid hit, we didn’t event take one day off. We powered through and we were the truck that started all the neighborhood food truck nights during the shutdowns.

In 2021, we built a second unit, a trailer called “Rosalie” from a pizza place in Charleston, SC which became our main festival truck. We also had a truck running in Florida this winter, which went well but we decided not to return for various logistical reasons.

In 2022, we built out our third and brightest truck called “Katina”, originally a baked goods truck in West Michigan. We then also moved to a new location in Grand Rapids more suitable for multiple truck storage.

In 2023, we opened our first brick & mortar location inside the Workshop Brewing Company in Traverse City. After almost a year, the brewery decided they weren’t making enough money from their beer sales alone, so they decided to take the kitchen back. It was unfortunate, but we had an absolutely wonderful year there serving the people of Traverse City.

In 2024, we built out a 4th unit, a pizza van more suited for smaller events called “Van Dough.” We also converted our green truck “Katina” to a new concept called “Chopped”, doing Chopped subs and chopped sandwiches, but only for the winter months.
